Many people that have visited areas in the world that have energy vortexes have reported feelings of euphoria, peace, balance, and physical healing. Many feel these energies can be felt and are beneficial to our existence. People forget that nature has so many amazing ways to heal.
A vortex is a sacred area of the earth where energy is concentrated and is rising from the living earth. It is transferred out of the earth’s surface. Vortexes are found at sacred sites throughout the world – the Great Pyramid in Egypt, Machu Picchu in Peru, Bali, Stonehenge, Sedona, Arizona, Uluru/Ayers Rock in Australia, etc. It is believed that the vortex energy moves in a spiral, moving up or down.
Vortexes (or vortices) are areas of concentrated energy rising from the living earth. These swirling centers of energy conducive to healing, meditation, and self-exploration can’t be seen but many say their subtle energies can be sensed.
Whether you are a spiritualist or simply curious about energy healing exploring these areas of enchantment on Earth provides a sense of tranquility. Nature’s natural beauty is healing in itself and intertwining with the energy is a beautiful opportunity to immerse yourself within the earth’s positive energy.
The old people came literally to love the soil and they sat or reclined on the ground with a feeling of being close to a mothering power. It was good for the skin to touch the earth and the old people liked to remove their moccasins and walk with bare feet on the sacred earth. Their tipis were built upon the earth and their altars were made of earth. The birds that flew into the air came to rest upon the earth and it was the final abiding place of all things that lived and grew. The soil was soothing, strengthening, cleansing and healing.- Luther Standing Bear
Energy healing practices are often performed in these sacred areas to harness and channel the abundant energy present. Whether you accept these vortex exist, or not you must accept that the beauty of nature heals. As you enjoy the outdoors remember the beauty of Earth.
